The pop star and idol of millions, Katy Perry, is reported to have tweeted on the social media from her Blackberry, another proof of many celebrities opting for the highly secured Blackberry which is also approved by the US govt for governmental use.
The ‘Big Papi’ of the baseball team Boston Red Sox, David Ortiz, a Dominican American created quite an uproar in the social media by taking a selfie with the then US President Obama at the White House. The selfie was taken on a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phone and it was reported to be retweeted more than 40,000 times. It was meant to be a Samsung campaign which was not very welcome by the White House.

Popular singers and music album creators like Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan, and Miley Cyrus prefer to use the iPhone to take thousands of selfies and connect with the world through social media like Twitter and Instagram.
Celebrities are humans after all and pertain to change their expensive toys from time to time and it is hard to predict what smartphone a celebrity will have at a particular time but it is established from the above instances that the most used smartphones come from tech giants like Apple, Samsung and Blackberry.
